Sailing x STEM Fun Day: Ride the Waves, Create your Adventure!

Event Highlights

• Hands-On Sailing Experience: Under the guidance of professional instructors, master basic sailing techniques like adjusting sails, steering, and maintaining balance. Perfect for family bonding, helping kids build courage and confidence from a young age!
• STEM Creative Workshop: Join our DIY sailboat model workshop and explore the structure of a sailboat from scratch.
• Stunning Views from the Sea: Embark on a journey to explore the breathtaking beauty of Plover Cove from a unique perspective.

Event Details

• Date: October 29, 2025
• Time: 2 sessions a daily > 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM ,  1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (3 hours of fun, relaxed and family-friendly!)
• Location: Tai Mei Tuk Plover Cove Sailing Club / Hong Kong Schools Sailing Association (Easily accessible by bus or taxi, with ample parking for those driving. We also offer a parking meter service for your convenience.)
• Capacity: Limited to 24 participants each session (First-come, first-served – book early!)
• Fee: $350 per person (Includes sailboat use, safety gear, and professional instruction. Same price for adults and children.)

Participant Requirements

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend:

• Minimum age of 5 (Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
• Comfortable with water (The activity involves sailing, so basic water confidence is needed).
• Able to swim at least 50 meters in clothing (To ensure readiness for unexpected situations).

If you meet these requirements, pack your swimwear and sunscreen! We provide life jackets and helmets, so you can focus on the fun without worry.

無論您是初學者還是經驗豐富的航海愛好者，這場活動將帶您漫遊大美督船灣的壯麗景致，在STEM 工作坊培養團隊/親子合作精神，創造難忘的回憶。

⛵活動亮點

• 親身體驗帆船駕駛：在專業教練的指導下，學習基本帆船操作技巧，包括控制船舵、轉向和平衡。適合親子同樂，讓孩子從小培養航海勇氣與自信！
• STEM 創意工作坊：使用環保材料DIY製作你的陸上小帆船模型，從零開始認識帆船結構。
• 從海上飽覽大埔大美督船灣景致：開啟你的自在航行探索之旅

⛵活動詳情

• 日期：2025年10月29日（重陽節假期!）
• 時間：一日兩節，每節3小時 > 上午9時至下午12時 / 下午1時至4時
• 地點：大美督船灣帆船會／香港學校風帆協會（可乘搭巴士或的士輕鬆抵達，停車場充足，歡迎自駕前來， 我們更有代入錶服務!）
• 名額：限每節 24 人（先到先得，報滿即止！）
• 費用：每人$350（包含會所設施及帆船使用、安全裝備及專業指導。兒童與成人同價。）

⛵參加者要求

為了確保活動順利進行並保障大家安全，我們建議：

• 年滿5歲（小朋友需由家長陪同）
• 不畏懼水（活動涉及海上航行，需有基本水性）
• 能穿著衣服游泳至少50米（確保應對突發情況）

如果您符合以上條件，就準備好您的泳衣和防曬用品吧！我們提供救生衣和頭盔，讓您的旅程安全至上。

Arrangement under Inclement Weather

Event will be cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory issued RED or BLACK rainstorm warning signal, typhoon signal No. 3 or higher at 7am.

For strong monsoon signal or thunderstorm warning, the event will be held as usual. We will arrange suitable tasks regard to the prevailing weather conditions. If Sailing Fun Day is cancelled due to inclement weather, refund will be arranged.
